New video: Katy Perry - Wide Awake

Katy Perry's new video for Wide Awake is definitely an impressive ending to the very long run her Teenage Dream album has had. It's pretty much got all the makings of a Hollywood movie.

In short, Katy finishes shooting her California Gurls video, and is transported into a magical dream world (this video), and then wakes up about to go on stage on tour to perform Teenage Dream.

Wide Awake shows her going all gothy, then all old and frail in a wheelchair, then all fairytale-y in a maze where she punches Prince Charming (anybody else thinking Russell Brand?) square in the mush. GO GURL!

All the while she's accompanied by a really very cool little girl, who helps her through her mysterious dream world. What a hero.

Time for a new album now then, KP? Yeah? We know Teenage Dream better than we know our Mums.
