Exciting One Direction album news!

As if they haven't spent enough time in America lately, One Direction are planning on recording their next album while holiday-ing in Florida.

We just asked out boss if we could do our work from Florida next week - and weirdly it didn't go down so well.

The boys are also joining forces with their old support group to shake up their image and sound, and are writing with indie band Boyce Avenue for part of their second album. Apparently they also plan on hanging out on the beach as they make the record at a studio on the East Coast. (Whoever said you can't surf and swim at the same time?)

Boyce Avenue’s Daniel Manzano revealed: “We’re meeting up to see what they think of some ideas we’ve got for them.

“We’ve got a studio right by the beach, so it’s a cool place for bands to come and write with us.”

But just because 1D are global megastars and probably the biggest band in the world right now, that doesn't mean they'll get their pick of Boyce Ave's best tunes.

Band members Daniel, Fabian and Alejandro admitted they sometimes keep their best ideas for themselves.

Alejandro told the Daily Star newspaper: “We were meant to write for a singer we won’t name.

“We fell in love with the song ideas ourselves and ended up putting them on our album.”

We don't know who this unnamed star is, but we reckon it might end up a little different with One Direction, because really, who could say no to Harry's curls? Or Zayn's lips? Or Louis' eyes? Or Niall's smile? Or Liam's voice? You get the picture...
