The queen of weird and wonderful, Lady Gaga, has apparently decided to set up shop on the Greek island of Crete, and is building her own house from scratch. We can only assume that this is because not one single building on the island is crazy and fabulous enough for Lady G.
The construction, which will feature tennis courts, two swimming pools, a palace and even a church, will appear to float on the sea. Naturally.
The development will cost £10 million in total and with insiders stating that “Extra costs are sure to mount up” we sure hope Gaga is ready to smash and destroy her piggy bank.
Although on the other hand, with news that her tour is currently the second highest grossing of the year and in the top 20 of all time, we think piggy should be just fine for now.
Some more sources who are close to the star and also have big fat mouths said: “It’s going to be absolutely phenomenal when she’s finished with it”. And with that price tag, we should ruddy welll hope so.
YET MORE insiders have claimed: “It’s right on the water and appears to be floating, anyone wanting a gander will only be able to see if they go by boat.”
In 2010 it was rumoured that the singer was set to marry then boyfriend Luc Carl on the island. And with a convenient church on the property... maybe this could mean inevitable wedding bells for her and current (and fit) boyfriend, Taylor Kinney. Building a church in your house is crtainly one big hint if we've ever heard one..
