Behind the scenes at London Fashion Week with Electra Formosa and 'Minnie and You'

When The Disney Channel exclusively invited We Love Pop behind the scenes at London Fashion Week to hang out with Elecrtra Formosa, we agreed quicker than you can say "oh god, I hate all my clothes, what the hell am I going to wear".

The depressingly fashionable star of Get The Look and Minnie And You was on hand to show us around the very special Inspired By Minnie Mouse collection of gorgeous, one-off fashion creations from Britain's top designers, to celebrate the timeless fashion icon that is Minnie Mouse. 

They have each designed a piece that has been inspired by Minnie and her iconic style, and all the clothes and accessories were exhibited at LFW before being auctioned off on Ebay for the British Fashion Council's Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation.

We asked Electra for a few tips on how to get the Minnie look at home, and she said:

“Polka dot nails – nail art is massive! You can do it with a tooth pick and be very precise – you can never go wrong with a tooth pick as you can never put too much on it.”

“Bows. It's as simple as taking a plain vest top and two pieces of ribbon, and tying them round the shoulders, or round the waist. Bows are a super easy way to customise and get the Minnie look.”

So there you have it. Forget Kate Moss, Cheryl Cole or The Saturdays – this season's fashion is all about the mouse. So make sure you make like Minnie.
